“Zimbardy is the electronic music project of Sam Vardy. Born in Christchurch, his musical journey started early in his high school years and continued to gain momentum throughout as he experimented with a variety of musical instruments and ideas. The year after graduating he discovered the underground outdoor psytrance party scene and since then has been obsessed with everything to do with producing and mixing.

Slowly developing his own unique style of minimal organic textures with dark driving undertones to create a biomechanical feast for the ears and a journey into the EDM spectrum to inspire and enlighten . This style spans across a variety of genres that over short time of producing he has attempted, including dubstep, techno, downtempo, glitch hop and psytrance. Now regularly popping up at festivals around the South Island of New Zealand, he continues to keep the momentum that started it all and is always looking for new inspiration to feed the ever growing project that is Zimbardy.”
